Vault of Blood

31 08 2009

Curious about the sounds described in the Bloodfest 2009 post, or wanting to revisit that essence I find rare all over again? Either way, I highly recommend doing so, otherwise I wouldn’t be posting this on my blog or have a blog at all. Nelson from ‘Whats Yr Damage?’ and also a fellow blogger at westpalmbeotch recorded and gathered these awesome live tracks throughout both the day and night sets all into one ZIP file. Not to sound like a broken record, if you’re into DIY punk music (especially from the exploding late 70’s/early 80’s era), noise rock, no wave, even dancefloor blender jams, OR if you just want to know things that are actually happening in your own beautiful Florida, open your internet ears a bit more. This is music made now; not all current ‘interesting, groundbreaking’ music is found in pitchforkmedia, who fucking generally suck. I enjoyed the Boulders, Preux Breaux Geauxld, Body Rot, Parts and Pieces of Past Ticiples, Then and Than, Ant Parade, Outmode, Slavescene (gee it’s all good!) and Small Pox sets the most from this.

This blogger is a hypocrite! He’s a liar, a thief, a crook, a martyr, wang, and a generally “bad” human being.
